Brad, you decided to purchase the Z1 13" front rotor upgrade over the parts counter while work on your car was being finished up in the shop. We mentioned to you that we could install it there if you were uncomfortable doing so yourself. I was beside you and you were looking at the car when I casually mentioned that it looked like 5 mm spacers would work in response to asking my opinion. I never said anything about measuring them or that a 5 mm spacer would work for sure. I simply casually said in passing that 5 mm looked like enough to me. I was talking with you while Jeremy was doing exhaust on your car I couldn't have gotten a definitive measurement without you watching me do so. In response to your question I should have taken a definitive measurement but I did not. It should have been clear to you that I did not given the timeline, nor did I ever say it was certain. The brake kits we sell over the counter and online require the customers to select the spacer they need based on taking their own measurements.
After figuring out that the spacer was not enough you contacted us very upset. Because we realized the communication must not have been clear between you and myself. We did offer to give you thicker spacers and extended studs, which you did not pay for. We mentioned that it would be a while on the studs, but never mentioned a definitive date on how long it would be. We are obviously at the mercy of suppliers on those issues. We do have the more expensive Nismo extended studs in stock. We've been clear that we would give you the thicker more expensive spacers and you could purchase the Nismo studs at any time or wait on the other studs. Our tracking information shows that the studs we offered to give you have been shipped. So as we mentioned earlier today, it shouldn't be long before they arrive and can give you the items we agreed to. Today you called here with an aggressive demanding attitude after we've told you that it will be a few more days for the parts we offered to give you (that you never paid for to begin with). So honestly, yes we believe you are being bit unreasonable.
Also to rebut some of the other points you brought up, you where not charged for a powersteering leak when you spent $767.88. What you were charged for that day here are the following parts and installation:
Lower silicone radiator hose engine undershroud coolant Amsoil oil change Boost leak test & leak repair and Diagnostics for bucking issues because of a faulty MAS. Daniel cleaned underneath the car because there was fluid everywhere and could not pin point the leak in the time frame we had the car for that day.
Later you called me and said that the fluid was still leaking from the car, which is not suprprising because we did not repair a leak or charge you for doing so.
You later set an appointment for exhaust install and to repair the powersteering leak. That day you also purchased a Z1 BBK kit, Blitz SBC ID, Axxis front pads and hood prop rod bushings.
